My Final Thoughts about 3/11/25
So I wanted to come on here and talk about something that I've noticed from this whole situation that's happened.
**DISCLAIMER:** I'M NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE OR INSENSITIVE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY POST PLEASE SCROLL I DON'T NEED UNNECESSARY HATE I'M JUST GENUINELY CURIOUS
So I'm just gonna start it off plain and simple: **Why is everyone now feeling empathetic for Tophia?** Now before I go further I just want to clarify, yes I know Tophia lost a family member and one got injured, I know she saw it with her own eyes. I know how devastating that can be to lose someone you love. My whole point of my post is: **WHY?**
I ask this because we all know how Tophia is, we all know who she is as a person. From people doxxing her, to door dashing her stuff to self-harm, to always saying rude and cruel things in her lives/comments, and to even getting death threats in dms. And putting aside what Brotherchu has done or even Mamachu, why are people **specifically** feeling bad for Tophia? Is there a reason to feel bad for **HER**?
What I mean is this. She's notorious for blaming the community as a whole for all her problems, and she's also notorious for saying things about people's families as well.
For example, if this in any way was Ash Trevino, like if something happened to her would people still feel bad for her? We all know how Ash Trevino is and we all know how hated she is by everyone on TikTok.
Final note: I'm pretty sure I'm going to get hate for this post, maybe even get taken down. Also I'm not defending Tophia in any way. Please remember that everyone has a different opinion on this whole situation and I'm not trying to start anything. I just want to know **why people are now feeling sympathy for Tophia, a person who gets hated on every single day of her life no matter what she does.**

Yea, I followed her lore for quite a bit and the difference between Tophia and people like Apple Store Shay and Ash T is that they are putting innocent kids through bullshit. Tophia is just lazy and not really ruining anyone else’s life but her own.

Her mom is choosing to stay though. She refused to go to a shelter or anything if she didn’t have her kids there. I wouldn’t equate that to someone who’s ruining their kids lives since kids can’t just leave. They don’t really get a choice.

I’ve been downvoted a ton here for pointing out the child abuser is way worse of a person than Tophia. That’s probably why people here have been hesitant to show any type of sympathy towards her before this incident.

I feel for her and her mom because that was very traumatic and they only had each other and that’s a horrible way to die however I do not have faith that she will get a job or help their situation. I think she will get lots of donations and be on her bs in no time

people will give her money due to the circumstances of her brothers death. they won’t know her history, they’ll just see a homeless family in dire need. she’ll blow through the funds like every time before and go back to old ways in time.

i'm asking the same fucking question and everyones acting like i'm saying we should all be rejoicing. clearly i actively particupate in the sub but people were not very empathetic from the beginning, saying worse stuff than i ever could ever imagine saying. ngl my opinion has changed a lil, i'm personally sorta conflicted about the whole donating to her thing. but idk

I feel like you're not truly grasping how traumatic and life-altering her situation is and that's why you're not understanding why people are being sympathetic/empathetic to her specifically now. Her brother get quite literally executed before her own eyes and her mother was injured in the process. Tophia was lucky enough to get away, but with that comes a ton of survivor's guilt on top of her already unstable mental health from what we've seen before this. You can argue that yes, her lack of stability was of her own doing, but this specific incident is nothing ANYONE, not even the people who dislike her could predict. Loss of a close family member is already hard enough, but imagine it happens in such a harrowing way when you already don't have much of a support system and you have to pick the pieces up and start basically from scratch on your own for the first time in your life. Obviously this sub isn't one that celebrates her and her antics but in this specific moment there IS a legitimate reason for people to practice kindness and empathy instead of kicking her while she's beyond down.

I recognize that she went through something incredibly traumatic, her mother too, losing a sibling/son is awful and I feel sympathy for her in that regard. Seeing it happen in front of you is nightmare fuel for life. So yeah it sucks that tophia and her mother experienced that.
That being said, I don’t like her and I’m not going to pretend I do. I’m especially not going to give any condolences to a predator, that is ridiculous and if that makes me a bad person so be it. I’ll cheer whenever anyone’s abuser dies. It’s always pedos deserve death until one dies in a gruesome way. I DON’T CARE world is a better place without them, I sleep better at night knowing any predator is 6ft under.

I just want to add my opinion on this.
I am NOT sympathizing with abusers, I am NOT justifying what he did/his actions. But I think I’d understand the whole “he deserved it” take more if he was actually a convicted predator. Hell, even if he said stuff like Donald Sr does on X, I’d think it’d be justifiable. But saying he deserved to be murdered execution style over unverifiable screenshots? That seems extreme. I’m not saying he didn’t do it. I’m not saying he isn’t a weirdo. But again I feel like to have that as your opinion there needs to be concrete proof he is in fact a pedophile.
If I am missing anything in terms of evidence against him please let me know. As far as I know the only thing anyone has are the screenshots and the “free diddy” on his car which yes…fucking weird but to justify his homicide? Idk.

What I will say though is that this situation reminded me of the fragility of life. Someone you love can be gone within a second. You’ll never know the last time you’ll see someone you love. It could be tomorrow. I keep thinking about my own little brother as well. If somehow you can’t feel anything at all from this situation I think u should go to a doctor.-
Also to answer your question, YES I did care when people were doordashing her and sending men to her house. I even posted my concerns on here and got downvoted into oblivion. Those people that did that were evil

i want to know this too, the only answer i've seen is "well some of us have empathy! 🤓☝️" meanwhile you scroll thru their comments and you can see them calling her sub human and some other horrible names. its a little ironic.
i also notice people excusing tophia & brotherchu's past inappropriate behavior with minors with "well they're clearly mentally disabled" lately which is interesting.

i never said they couldn't feel that way lol i'm just saying i don't personally understand it. i feel bad for her too, but while she's talking about committing suicide and breaking down, some people laughed. some people made fun of mamachu's poor health. i guess i wonder if mamachu died or if tophiachu died, would it be the same? i'm not even asking to be rude. some people were so quick to go from sympathetic to anger because of the gfm thing. just trying to understand.

To be clear, I'm not left feeling overly bothered that Donald--who has been seen to specifically prey on the underage--is gone, but I \*am\* sympathetic to Tophia and Marie having to witness it and for their loss. Has Tophia behaved inappropriately, yes; is she an actual predator, not that we've seen. So I would rather not leave my humanity at the door just to gloat over someone else's misfortunes, all the same. What do you want people to say, what actually would make people like you happy to see on a sub like this at this time? I don't understand what people who question human empathy actually \*want\* here

i appreciate your feedback, this was kind of an answer i was hoping to get. i guess somewhere i got mistaken on the lore because i've seen people accuse her of having inappropriate interactions with minors, but apparently it was not true (?).
to clarify, i actually feel awful what marie and tophia went thru. although i agree with your sentiment about donald, the thought of someone getting shot at randomly while theyre sleeping is horrifying. so thats why i feel empathetic for them. i feel especially bad for marie, at her age and what lther health issues she has, a GSW might have even kill her. i am of the belief she is pretty much at tophia's mercy. either way, that whole situation has got to be traumatic.
when i say i don't understand it, i mean i don't really understand why some people are upset that some people are not really willing to donate directly to tophia right now given her past, and why some people are upset when someone says donald was predatory towards minors/abusive towards women. even though she sucks, if i could donate knowing it means her and marie would have a bed to sleep in, i just might. only time will tell what she'll do with the money. i also think it's weird that now people are saying his predatory behavior was a result of his mental capability. some of the "critical" behavior people claim they do towards tophia isn't really critical as much as it is just straight up name calling. so when people say "we can be critical and empathetic", it makes me wonder how saying some of the things they do, mainly about marie's health, is critical of tophia.
i'm not defending tophia either, just asking questions. maybe there's a mistranslation somewhere

Going to say this one last time and then any future people asking are just gonna have to put the fries in the bag themselves.
Ragging on, mocking, snarking on Tophia etc was always done because of the things she had control over. Her racism, her hygiene, her attitude, her weird fetish for young teens, all of it was stuff she had control over, deliberate actions of her own free will, and that's fair game when you go out of your way to make yourself a public figure.
What happened to her brother was something only one person had control over--the shooter. This was a crime, a family tragedy, something no one asked for or that no one in her life caused to happen. You can feel sympathy for a tragedy happening to a bad person when it's not something they caused and it's so disproportionate to what they've done wrong. If she stubbed her toe, that's maybe karma; if she brutally loses her brother to senseless violence, that's something any normal, well-adjusted, grass-touching human would be sympathetic to.
