My opinion on Tophia with the “she’s a sociopath” and “narcissistic” things.
Would like to start this off by saying I have conduct disorder - soon to be diagnosed with ASPD. I can speak on the sociopath shit 😭
I do not think Tophia is a sociopath or has ASPD. I think she IS narcissistic however. Let me elaborate or..explain? How she exhibits narcissistic traits:
Lack of empathy: while people with ASPD have this, so do narcissists, simply put. She has no issue with talking about people’s dead relatives, abusing animals, etc.
Her need for admiration: she will say and do anything that makes her seem like a “good” person..ex: speaking out about the deportations, racism, and a plethora of other things; however she’s a fucking hypocrite. She herself has said that Mexican women are lucky they aren’t deported, called darkskin people / black people “burnt” in color?? And MANY MANY other racist and disgusting things along with slurs that can be found in the faq I believe.
She acts with disregard to others and makes every single thing about herself, and if she can’t find a clear way to make it about herself she WILL lie. She claimed papachus family would be deported despite the fact papachus family is African AMERICAN, and have been in the states for generations. She will twist just about anything to receive sympathy/empathy from others.
I’m in no place to diagnose Tophia, obviously..I’m just stating observations of her behaviors. She has a dire need to be admired or seen as a good person even though have the shit she says is always contradicting, or a call from inside the house. I, in no way, believe Tophia is a sociopath at all. She has the need to brag about her limited “achievements”, has a very concerning lack of empathy, hypocritical as all hell, need for admiration, has preoccupations with success and wealth that won’t happen (ex: getting a big house. She thinks she’s far too good to work and wants things handed to her..sound familiar?), believes that everyone is jealous of her, is EXTREMELY arrogant, and the list goes on.
In summary: Tophia exhibits majority of the behaviors of a narcissist. Obviously anyone can debate this, but with all the proof of how she acts on videos my point stands. If this gets downvoted, yay!🙌 I just wanted to share my opinion/observations as somebody with CD. I don’t really enjoy people just throwing the term sociopath around. Also, I never said Tophia has NPD, I am only saying she exhibits a lot of the behaviors somebody who is a narcissist would , but in really odd forms. I’m not good with wording stuff, I apologize for that. You can have narcissistic traits without having NPD - NPD is a complex disorder that usually stems from trauma, just incase anyone was confused or maybe curious.

I always talk about this whenever I can. She’s always talked shit about Latinos and Hispanic people In general unless it benefits her. She randomly started claiming to be Afro-Latina (despite Marie literally confirming they’re Spanish Hispanic / Spaniard.) when the deportations started because she needed to make the tragedy about her in some way. It literally disgusts me so fucking much. She’s mentally deranged, and it’s concerning beyond belief. I don’t think I could ever properly put into words how much she irks me

Exactly. She has this strange habit of making everything about her. She looks for drama and negative situations just to make herself the victim even when it has nothing to do with her. I’ve watched her longer than most, before the haters, trolls, tophia pages, Reddit, and discord I’ve seen her lives before all this and she purposely looks for drama just to insert herself in. She use to go live for like 10+ hours back in the apartment and would sit there all day and watch YouTube/Tiktok videos about celebrity and influencer dramas/ situations and find a way to make it about herself. ( example: there’s a clip of her watching a video about a guy having cancer and she twist it to make it about herself saying she wished she had cancer) Recently she’s been using politics and now her brothers death to make it all about herself. ( I know she’s a victim in her brother’s situation and I’m not trying to say she isn’t but she’s making her brother’s death less about him and more about herself. All I hear from her about the incident is just “me, me, me, me” ) She can’t live without negativity and she can’t live without making herself the victim.

This is why I kind of hate that pop psychology has become so mainstream because people diagnose anyone they don’t like as being a narcissist or sociopath 😭 someone can be generally a not good person without having a disorder, and people can display narcissistic traits without having NPD! I absolutely agree with you that she displays narcissistic traits and the lack of empathy is sooo prominent. Her behavior also matches some traits of histrionic personality disorder- constant social media posting, needing to be the center of attention, lying for attention, constantly wanting sympathy, acting out, impulsivity… there’s definitely something there even if it isn’t a full blown personality disorder

People who display traits of one personality disorder are likely to display ones of another personality disorder in the same cluster lolll. People throw the term sociopath around like it’s something to just describe any bad behavior…it just bugs me so much. I agree that there is 100% something wrong with her, however she would never admit to it and would never actively seek help or try to make herself better, despite the fact she’s self diagnosed herself with a learning disability and ptsd which are two things that are SO complex. Her lack of empathy was the first thing I really noticed about her, and it’s always stuck out to me. I don’t know a single person who is capable of the shit she is - I genuinely wish an actual psychologist would see her, but she’d probably scream about it in her story and blame the internet :3

Getting any type of mental help requires being honest with both yourself and your provider and I just don’t see her ever being able to do that lol

Not only that but Tophia has always been anti Hispanic until she was able to find a way to use it to victimize herself. She is 4th gen American on her mother’s side, they’re more American than Hispanic that’s why they have 0 ties to their Hispanic culture and can’t speak any Spanish yet now she’s proudly claiming it because she found something else to use for her sob stories. ( she’s always claimed being hispanic but she’s always done it in a negative manner, like to use being Hispanic as an excuse to talk down on Hispanics but for the most part she only likes to claim being black)
