Rock bottom?
Ik all of us do not like tophiachu like that but this whole situation is sad. This HAS to be rock bottom for her, there is NO WAY her life can get any worse. Let’s HOPE this is the wake up call she really needed because nothing else was working. But knowing tophiachu she’ll probably make another gofundme 😕 TOPHIA WAKE UP, THIS IS A HUGE WAKE UP CALL TO MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR LIFE

She has no choice but to find a shelter to stay in unless she just gonna stay on the streets (which would be dumb considering the situation she’s in)

She said it was someone from the internet (with no proof) and if it was, why would your first instinct be to run back to social media? If that’s what possibly contributed to your family losing their lives, why would you go back to the thing that did it?
If anything, she’ll use this as a rebrand or something

It absolutely can get worse. There’s always substance abuse and petty crime. Inevitably, Tophia will wind up with her own injuries and opportunistic infections. That’s always how it ends.
Taxpayers could have paid a few thousand dollars a year to give them shelter, but now they’ll foot the bill for hundreds of thousands of dollars in emergency care because something something socialism and bootstraps. People never fucking learn.

I pray for them all, but would NOT donate to her. This whole thing is awful, sickening and just I wish it never happened, but I would not donate to her ever. I dislike her, but I hope more than anything she will actually use this to better herself and get a job because her FAMILY NEEDS HER. She can't rely on anyone for anything anymore, she has to actually step up now. I pray they're all okay, and that this was just a huge scare. I've written on so many of these posts already but I truly hope for a positive update. I never wanted them to get hurt.
I hope tophia now sees that there are crazy people out there, and that how dire their situation was, and how much worse it is now. Nobody deserves this. But I hope she gets PROPER help. -
Yea I wished she’d get her shit together, but not this way… I mean fuck she still might not, this is the universe tossing her a massive curve ball with a lot of different possible outcomes

if this situation is really dire, i wouldn’t mind donating to her IF she provides proof that she is also currently and actively searching for a job/has found a job to work at
otherwise i really don’t know what other traumatic situation can wake her up

Holy shit I actually just saw her insta story and found out what happened. I get being empathetic, cause I am too, but there’s just simply no way for her to live off donations. The best thing for her right now is for her to stand on her own two feet and get shit figured out. Doesn’t have to be right away obviously, cause what she just went through is unbelievably traumatic, but something has got to give

i can’t believe the person who said that they’ll give tophia $500 to expose her ancestry test is supported by the subreddit, even though we were supposed to be against giving her money
but once i say that i don’t mind donating to her so she has some money to last while she finds a job (right after a traumatic incident), the sub dislikes that

Donating will only hurt her *more* in the long run. Just look at Joshua Block funding his alcohol addiction with donations or Daniel Larson before he got arrested; they think they can just live off fan’s generosity without paying for the necessities. Toph has been the same for all these years.
I hope to god Tophia’s family is okay and this is the kick that leads her to get a job to provide for them, but she needs to do that on her own. No donations— that only encourages her laziness.

yea thats the disadvantage of donations, but daniel eventually stopped receiving funds when people found out he was full of shit and a raging pedophile. if she were to turn out full of shit too, then she won’t ever have a donation from me again
tophia probably has nothing to her name. no job, most likely no money, now no car and she’s alone. she’s at rock rock bottom. my idea is that she at least needs a few bucks to live off of while she finds a job to work at. it will be the last and only piece of kindness i’ll ever show to her in her current grave circumstance
(before any of you say i’m better off donating to someone else, i also donate to humanitarian relief organisations and the gofundmes of palestinian individuals.)

I understand your concern for the Chu family but, are you sure she’ll use the money for it’s intended use? In the best case scenario, it won’t be another “I used the rent money on Comic Con” situation and Tophia will actually use the donations to cover medical expenses.
