             she meets a homeless Korean man who had just moved to her small village of Albuquerque and he lives with the chu’s and helps out with the family restaurant and then one day he reveals he’s a K-pop angel and as he’s floating out the window, he tells tophia thank you for her kindness and tosses a shiny rock into her hands and he tells her he’s known her all her life (he’s her guardian angel basically but since we’re going with a studio ghibli themed movie, you’re left to figure that on your own and the rock has some sort of significance)
