I think Marie is so scared of Tophiachu that she has never crossed that line. Toechu has never had to bite the hand that feeds her yet. She may never have to. Tophia shut up. When has she ever put herself before others? Everyone has always put her first, to their own detriment.
Messed with her father’s meds bc he kept getting on social media ruining her “image,” causing him to go insane and begin a long stretch of incarceration.
Spent her money on comic con instead of getting a job and paying rent so they wouldn’t get evicted from their low income apartment.
Spent all her money on DoorDash and Temu instead of helping her brother pay the motel fees, causing them to end up on the streets.
Refused housing with family bc she’s a narcissist who can’t stay off social media, resulting in her brother losing his life.
“Lost” the death certificate and couldn’t be bothered to look for it so she could pick up her brother’s ashes.
Wouldn’t fill out paperwork to go visit her gravely injured mother.
Lived her best life for the past 6 months, shopping, gambling, and partying instead of getting a job and stable housing for her and her mother.
Rejected an opportunity for free housing for herself and her mother, again bc she’s a narcissist who can’t stay off social media.
And that’s just the past couple years. She has no friends or family on her side bc she’s a terrible person who blames everyone else for problems she created.
