The guilt must be absolutely devastating
I see everyone talking about how much trauma she experienced watching her brother get murdered, but I think by far what is going to affect her more is the guilt of leaving her mother to get shot and possibly die.
Obviously no sane person would blame her for flightor fight insticts with a gun pulled, but that doesn't change the fact that she's gonna be thinking about it endlessly. Wondering if she just spent a couple seconds longer if she could have gotten her mom away safely.
As tragic as Brotherchu is, at least that you could chalk up to "wrong place, wrong time". Could have happened to any one of us. But she made an active decision in the moment that she's gonna have to live with.
Typically I don't have much sympathy for the Chus, but that part actually breaks my heart for her.
She’s already said in the original video that she regretted leaving her mother in the car (obviously heat of the moment, she didn’t know if her mother was okay either)
I hope she does realize that she is probably the one who saved her mothers life. She was probably the first one to call police, which were then looking for the car before the car had crashed. If she would’ve stayed in the car she would’ve also likely been killed. Ffs her elderly, disabled mother was even shot by her brother’s killer, Tophia would have definitely been shot. She would have 100% died or been severely brain damaged being shot at point blank range from someone sitting in the drivers seat. Her mother could have died too.
