Tophia "investigation"
Why does Tophia keep saying that this is an open investigation and she cannot give any updates because police are still investigating.. it says in the news reports the man had caused a wreck and had fled the scene, the reason for him car jacking the family was to escape the wreck he just caused. How is it a open investigation and how are they trying to figure out why he did that when they already know. I'm not sure if she's so wrapped up in her own delusions but she thinks this was a planned attack .. she thinks she's so famous someone intentionally found them and did this.

She’s so delusional she wants to believe she’s so well known when I barely even heard about her after being evicted in the fall. I’ve lived in this city for over 14 years and I think (not sure) she came to the international market I worked at and asked me about an application (I don’t remember because the interaction was very inconsequential, I only remember the interaction at all because afterwards my manager was laughing because the person that asked for the application disparaged me for wearing lipstick and tried to say I did something I didn’t at the register. They put her on the do not hire list.)
I do believe people were screwing with her in person, but those weren’t very violent offenses. Fucked up? Yeah, but the actual physical interactions with their property didn’t include any personal physical attacks. If you look at next door or ring you’ll see that people are up at all hours of the night asking about gunshots they hear throughout the night. There are constant accidents from drunk drivers and just general crime. If I were on the streets I would not be just sleeping out in the open. I would find an alley to sleep for the night, while dangerous you’re still not like in as much danger as being on the streets.
Also her excuse that they couldn’t move the car from the parking lot is just ??? Because we all know that one car they had left did work for them to go places so I didn’t understand that argument. I know the other cars were in a state of not really running, but this one they had left was just like ??? You could go anywhere else. If they thought they would be safe at a church they were naive to believe no one would do anything because not everyone respects the church like that.

Tophia’s whole narrative is built on victim mentality and delusion. She wants to believe she’s this massive, well known internet personality when, in reality, most people only know about her because of her own bad decisions. If she had any real awareness, she would’ve realized how stupid it was to just park out in the open instead of finding a safer place to sleep. Albuquerque isn’t Disneyland it’s dangerous for everyone, not just her.
And let’s talk about the car excuse. She had a working vehicle but suddenly couldn’t move it when it actually mattered? She had options but refused to take them. That’s the story of her life zero accountability. She acts like the world is out to get her when, in reality, she keeps putting herself in bad situations and then whining when reality slaps her in the face.

Yes. She believes they were targeted. She thinks one of her haters set it up. She keeps posting that there's an ongoing investigation, which I am sure they're investigating the incident but she is implying that this was a planned event and that she is in danger.

She is either 1 upset that this wasn’t a targeted attack because she can’t blame the internet and profit more that way
Or 2. They are telling her that because her mom is in APS care and she is so dense, she doesn’t understand that APS being involved is part of the investigation…This case is closed from the standpoint of suspect vs victims.

As delusional as she is she probably believes this was an assassination attempt on her life but her brother got in the way. Like "the internet" hired a hitman because it's jealous of her success and sick ass hoodie designs.

I think it might be an open investigation because I am assuming Tophia told the police investigators that the trolls from the internet were responsible for her brother's death and that she was targeted by the internet
just guessing based on tophia's documented history of oversharing every detail of her life to everyone and anyone, like the time she livestreamed herself calling the cops because she was being trolled by tiktokers.
NOT defending tophia here, but I can see why the investigation is still open in that because of the rise of social media and online trolling, there have been documented cases of copycat crimes that occurred because of internet trolls being inspired to harass people because of trolls, such as the instances of tophia being mailed boxes of gorilla poop and the time trolls sent grinder dates to her motel room.

News from the police said no, there is no internet threat. It was random, and they were waiting for toxicology to come to look into the motive. He wreaked ran and found them and their care, most likely running

I am just going based on what tophia has said and the weird actions some people from the internet have done. especially since tophia said on a livestream that the police told her not to post anyone online talking about the murder.

The police are not unsure of motive. He was trying to flee and he wanted a car. That's the motive. Tophia just is desperate to find a way to blame the internet and it's just not true. There's no way for her to twist this into her being targeted because she wasn't. It was an unfortunate random act of violence.

Tophia saying this is an “open investigation” is just another way for her to control the narrative and make herself the center of attention. The facts are already out this wasn’t some elaborate, targeted attack on her or her family. It was a random crime committed by a guy trying to escape after causing a wreck. But instead of accepting reality, she has to twist the story into something bigger, something that feeds her victim complex.
Let’s be real Tophia thinks she’s way more relevant than she actually is. She’s always acting like she has “haters” out to get her, as if people are plotting to ruin her life in some grand conspiracy. But the truth is, she’s just not that important. This was a tragic situation, but it had nothing to do with her specifically.
Because if Tophia can’t milk a situation for pity and drama, then what’s the point, right? The case is cut and dry dude fled a crash, carjacked a family, end of story. But Tophia can’t just say that because then she wouldn’t be able to paint herself as the tragic main character.
This “open investigation” thing is just another way for her to avoid answering questions and keep the attention on herself. If she truly believed this was a planned attack on her, then she’s either so deep in her delusions that she can’t tell reality from fiction or she’s just flat-out lying for engagement. Probably both.
