Tophia is a lost cause
If you donated to her, you’re a fool. She takes the help she received for granted and believes that we should have helped her from the get go even though she refused to help herself. imma keep it real, had she gotten a job she would have had a roof over her head and her brother wouldn’t have even been put in that situation. This event hasn’t changed her and she’s going to milk it for all it’s worth.

There is someone on this subreddit that shows resources and jobs hiring in Tophia's area and has done so for months now.
While I understand where she is coming from by asking people to stop blaming her for this she can't sit there and honestly say no one has tried to help them.
The help she has been offered just isn't what she wants. If it's not a cash donation she see's it as useless. There have also been many people in the past that have donated to her but the money was never spent on housing or survival.
All feelings about her past aside I do hope she receives resources for survival from a social worker or someone that can step in and direct her the right way. She is not able to care for herself or a disabled mother.

you’re right, the help she received wasn’t good enough because she couldn’t do it her way. all she wanted was to spend money with no strings attached.
best thing for her would be to take whatever help/resources are given to her and get off the internet but she’s addicted to social media so i never see that happening. as long as she has a phone and access to that, i think she’s a lost cause since she’ll always see it as the “easier” alternative and use it to justify her lifestyle.
