Tophia is so cooked now
Beside all the drama with brotherchu he was the only one who tried to make his situation a little bit better and had a job and now he’s dead.. Marie can’t work (please correct me if I’m wrong about that) papa chu got arrested. Will this be a wake up call for her? And she will actually get a job and stop living like this? (I hate tophia but seeing your brother die is sad)

Marie just got shot there is zero chance she can work a job, even if she was somehow capable before. I’m hoping this is the catalyst that gets Marie off the streets.

Listen, it’s been less than 24 hours. Please just chill before you bring all that, “she’s cooked” language. Let her business be her business for a minute after all this. You cannot expect her first thought after this to go out in a job application, she has to worry about where she’s gonna sleep tonight or if she’ll even eat. We can have this discussion later and let her grieve.

Most people in tophias position would crash out. Myself included so it’s not wrong saying she’s cooked, it’s a wild situation all around and not to say she enjoys it but it might be necessary.. I’m praying for any type of resolution

If you’re really trying to argue why it’s ok to say someone’s cooked less than 24 after their family was killed and injured, then there’s nothing I can even say to you. You can’t teach humanity. Her mental health is not up for debate, especially right now.

social services will get involved or adult protective services. I think the hospital will get involved and put marie in a nursing home. Tophia will have no choice but to eventually get a job and provide for herself.

I honestly hope they try and put tophia in like a supportive work program no reason she can’t be a cashier at a supermarket! If she can work a smart phone she can learn a modern register. (Obviously she’ll need however long she needs to properly grieve) but I’m hoping they don’t just take Mamachu and cast tophia completely out on her ass.

I would hope to see them get connected with a social worker and offered services through the city, if shes lucky and smart, Her and mamachu will apply for disability and hopefully get into a shelter and keep pushing foward.

i think everyone needs to stop commenting on it. yes shes a bad person, but a tragedy is a tragedy. no one deserves to see their brother pass, and their mom get injured. i feel for her. she needs time to heal and to grieve.

I think right now Tophia has been given a place to sleep for the time being, so that's good. I'm hoping Mamachu makes it. I can't even begin to imagine the pain in that family right now, what Tophia went through is a waking nightmare.
