A social worker has already spoken with them. They are homeless so social worker gets involved ALWAYS. I use to do that. We would have done emergency Medicaid forms and got them temp housing usu better than a shelter while waiting. They both qualify 💯 right now. Emergency food stamps esp bec Marie is elderly and sick, various resources. She had to have denied all resources or will be getting them and saying nothing to scam even more. I’ve seen many tophias in my career and there is no way any social worker feels it’s safe for them. She’s leaving a lot out that’s why she’s stuttering. I’m sure she will read and downvote. Someone’s downvoting a lot right now. Aren’t u babe?

okay that's good to know, i wish she was cooperative with adult protective services to get her into some sort of financial conservatorship. i usually don't advocate for those but it's clear she just can't function on her own. rlly sad to watch.

I've been keeping my mouth shut because of the severity of this situation but WOW. Typical money hungry Tophia. She should be grateful that her brother's friends stepped up and began to arrange funeral services for her brother. Every single one of her stories has been about sending the money directly to her. I can guaranfuckintee that she will end up pocketing a majority of the money and will just get him cremated and put in an urn. Her excuse will be that it's what her mother wanted. Prove me wrong Big T, please.

I just have had the worst feeling she’s gonna waste money intended for the funeral. I hope she understands how expensive funerals are especially if she wants to bury him and not just get him cremated. Plus, I know she’s going through a lot but why hasn’t she thanked anyone or told anyone how her mom is doing? I’ve had to lay both my parents to rest and neither had life insurance or anything saved so it was insanely expensive. My dad passed when I was still figuring out being an adult and wasn’t making a lot of money so I had to do a go fund me. I thanked EVERYONE for their help.

im not gonna say i’ve lost all sympathy for her, because i still do have a lot of sympathy for her. but it’s just crazy how it’s only been a little over 24 hrs and the only thing she talks about is how to send money to her directly and not the gofundmes. and the fact that she’s probably sitting w marie in the hospital and she’s spending her time posting multiple stories about how to give her money and responding to dms. and i understand that the situation they’re in is going to be expensive, but i was just hoping she would just focus on her family for a bit and be present with her mom instead of making instagram stories and responding to messages from randoms
