Tophia will never work to get herself a better life because the internet has always paid for it for her.
Whether she wants to admit it, the internet has babied her. She’ll deny it cause in comparison to an Ash Trevino who’s also problematic with no talent, Tophia doesn’t think the internet babies her but it does just not to that extent.
When she’s getting kicked out, people donated. She needed food, people sent money through cash app and gift cards. She wanted makeup and video games, people sent them to her. She adds stuff to her wishlist, people buy things for her. Her brother dies and she needs money for a funeral and “other expenses”, they donate. (She of course ran her fat mouth and ruined the size of the bag she could’ve gotten from it but people still donated)
Anytime she’s needed or wanted something people would give it to her. It was never the amount she wanted and she definitely hasn’t been spoiled in comparison to others but the internet has always babied her and that’s why she’ll never actually try and better her life without the help of the internet.
She knows that when she blows her whole paycheck someone will send her money during a live stream. She knows she’s got the internet in her back pocket which is why she’s so quick to be careless with what little money she gets. And until the internet quits donating and watching entirely she’s never gonna be in a position where she has to help herself without anyone else’s help.

We watched her starve her mom. It's documented quite clearly between not sharing when she cooked when food was sent to them, even with Marie's name on it, Tophia would body slam her to get the food. The only way she'll maybe get a job is if she HAS to. Like if there weren't idiots online giving her money for nothing. She'll always choose the easiest route, so as long as people keep donating, she'll never get it together.
