Wasn’t the gofundme made by donald’s friends?
why is tophia saying that we shouldn’t donate to that gofundme when it’s made by the car community? is it because she won’t have direct control? WHICH SHE SHOULDNT have control over any money going for funeral costs to begin with?
she’s being extremely ungrateful.

i don’t even think donating directly to marie is a good idea. tophia has complete control over her mother, since she is mentally and physically unwell. this is extremely sad.

oh 100%. that is why she’s getting upset. she won’t have control over the $2000 that is being donated for FUNERAL costs. she would probably use it on herself and say “donald would’ve wanted me to” or some crazy shit.

She needs financial guardianship! Someone who is more competent to manage money. This would be able to help her in the long term and won’t be one of those things where she gets a ton of money and is tempted to spend it on unnecessary things.

Yep! absolutely! that is why i hope adult protective services have been called about them from the hospital or maybe even the police. They both need guardianship and a case worker to manage everything. they cannot functionally take care of themselves. i mean for fucks sake during the hotel situation Marie was having accidents on herself.

She could report that GFM since she’s actually family and have it taken down (which I hope she does not do) like I’m not donating because there’s no funeral home we can directly send the money to and she wants to be PayPal’d funds for a room/etc. She’s not gonna give us the info on WHERE to send the money but to her and I feel sorry for her but not enough to give her money to just piss away 😂

if she did that she would hit a new low. i have no issue donating to the current gofundme seeing that it was created by the car community for funeral expenses. but jeez. she is so greedy and i know she’s homeless but before this even happened by now she would be put into section 8 because they’ve been homeless for over 2 years which is the wait time!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 so im tired of hearing her excuses.

she said not to donate to any other gofundme’s she mentioned that she believes that his friends are trying to fund money for his funeral in her story post! i’m assuming she’s talking about other gofundme’s not made by her or his friends that are just trying to scam money out of people.

You hit the nail on the head. She wants the lions share of the money to go to herself and probably assumes that the car club's fundraiser will largely go towards her brother's final expenses and her mother's medical/life needs over herself since she's an able bodied adult.

Yes. It is a valid go fund me. If you look at the ig accounts that Donald’s rainbow bright ig account followed (ie his car friends), they had this gfm by Ryan M linked in their stories. In addition, these are the same friend accounts that were sequentially posting very touching panoramic shots of all the ppl who gathered in the parking lot yesterday evening to grieve the loss of Donald.

after doing some digging, this go fund me is also posted on the New Mexico Car Community page. so it’s looking legit. these are people who were directly involved with the sydnells when they would go to car meets.

also want to mention that this gofundme has donation protection. so if it’s not used correctly i’m sure gofundme would be able to refund people as well.

It seems like one of them was but there are four that come up when you search GoFundMe. One by the friends, two by random people in Texas, and one by someone claiming to be Tophia herself but the typing style in the description does not match her unique style used anywhere else.

I don’t personally see it as ungrateful. We don’t personally know any of the people doing the gofund me, and I’m not trying to call them all scammers or anything, but I can see why she would be a little hesitant to have people donate to only that one. I would be a little hesitant too. There’s always a small chance that the people organizing that gofund me don’t give the money to the family for the funeral. Not at all saying that’s what’s happening, just saying I could see her being nervous about that.
Exactly that and other people are like no donate directly to her she'll be responsible with the money, first thing new make up and comic con tickets then next month back to asking for donations
