What does she mean when she says she can see that cashapp payments fail?

r/tophiachutiktok • by MyNameIsNotMia •

I read a comment saying that only the person sending the money can see if it failed, is that true? What kind of alert would she get and when would it happen? The whole thing just confuses me and I need clarification

that means she’s scamming. her cashapp fails way too many times for her to be telling the truth. she wants people to send her money and tricks them into it.

Ive recieved money on all types and ive NEVER seen them fail..

But doesn’t cashapp tell people if their payment failed so wouldn’t they see that and send it again if that happened? Has anyone here sent her money to confirm this ?

either her account has been reported too many times or she's lying.

It makes no sense because AK said that tophia told her to send money to the cashapp. So what’s the truth at this point ?

I've had people send me money and it only shows that it fails on their end. If it fails, you just don't get it. I've also sent money and had it fail And it just tells you "payment is pending. Don't bother sending again as payment will go through when connection is better" or some shit like that however they never end up going through and you will have to send it again. But as the receiver there is no notification of a payment failure. She's lying and scamming again unless the people are actually telling her the payment failed but in no way shape or form would a failed payment notify her and not the sender.

I don’t know if she’s scamming or not. But I’ve gotten it on the receiving end that a payment has failed or has been canceled for my protection. As have a lot of other people ( speaking for the people from the r/cashapp page who have made post about it, & people who have posted about it in different forums)

That’s not true. Cashapp has told me payments (made to me) have been canceled due to my protection.

Went through my whole cash app to find an example and I must’ve cleared those transactions because they were a while ago. But you can just Google it. People have had that issue. But it may not be the specific thing Tophia is dealing with - saying it failed vs cancelled for my protection.

She always uses that weird excuse I assume it’s because whoever sending her money is either trolling her by sending via an empty card so they payment will always fail. Or also be her cashapp is reported as well so they are denying any money being sent to her.

Also, she may not be in direct contact with the people that are sending her these failed cashapps. So we don’t really know if they have gotten the notification or not, and whether they have tried to resend it and have just given up and chosen not to send her a message about it.
OR she could be scamming 🤷🏿‍♀️
I just know I’ve gotten notified

She’s been caught doing this before. That means she’s scamming.

okay BEFORE i turned 18 i got a cash-app so my parents and i could send each other payments for a computer i bought on a payment plan. because i was a minor, i had to create my account sort of "under" my dads account. he never had to approve my payments and idk if he got notifications from when i sent money or had money sent to me. however, someone who had never sent money to me before tried to send me like 5 bucks and it was immediately blocked due to "suspicious activity". i got a notification, the sender got a notification, and my dad got a notification. I know Tophia is old lowkey but maybe she made her account under someone elses account? theres a lot of different ways to signup for cashapp, especially if someone sent you those links that will give you like 5 bucks if someone signs up from the link.
