Whatever happens with the donations is on her, and feeling some type of way about it is pointless
While we won’t know anything about the CashApp or PayPal payments that Tophia receives, everyone will see from the GoFundMe pages just exactly how much she and Marie are being helped. She’s either going to use it to better her situation or will be on the streets for ever. It’s her prerogative. And a year from now if she’s blown through everything and is still in the same situation, what she can’t say is that no one cared when she was at her lowest. I mean, she definitely WILL say it, but it won’t be true lol.

My POV exactly, well said. We did our due diligence to support her in a time where anyone would deserve undivided support. People who are trashing those who donated, it’s not their place. If y’all were in that situation you would want someone to donate and help out too.

Most people work their way out of their hardships and don’t depend on free hand outs from the internet. Tophia can use her own resources but she refuses because she’s lazy and refuses to get a job which most programs for free housing want you to do. No one should’ve donated. It’s not our responsibility to house , fed and cloth a 30 year old woman. Now I don’t wanna hear anyone come on here and cry about being scammed

And plenty of people are working paycheck to paycheck and also use GFM as a platform to gather donations for a funeral, because many people don’t have savings or aren’t expecting a loss. No one is funding tophias life, point blank period, it’s about getting Donald jr a proper burial, even if she got 15k, it wouldn’t fund/float her lifestyle for long, but I doubt she will get even 10k. Nobody’s getting scammed, as they know and saw what they donated to, Donald jrs funeral and a hand up for the remaining family.

Most of these people who do set up GFMs are still trying though, they’re still attempting to better their situations along wjth extra help. Tophia isn’t. she demands it, she feels entitled to handouts . She expects the internet to fund her life. If tophia would try and change her life around, get a job, help her and mamachu, then I wouldn’t be bothered by the GFM. She can get resources from the state to fund her funeral, atleast 6-7k. Donald sr is a veteran so I know they’re able to get resources .

I mean her brother was just shot in front of her 4 days ago, y’all’s sympathy is purely for show, I mean not to be offensive, but the funeral hasn’t even happened yet, how do you expect her to make these massive changes YOURE expecting RIGHT NOW. 4 days wasn’t even enough for me to really even eat after I lost a loved one, in not a nearly traumatic way. It took me awhile to be ok after months of wreckless behavior cause I just lost my everything! The state will offer help, and give her a reasonable amount of time to grieve after what she JUST WENT THRU 4 DAYS AGO, im highly critical of tophia, just as the next person, but damn y’all make it hard to be apart of this community when it seems like the majority of y’all are borderline sociopaths, real shit. Put yourself in that situation, or can you not? I’d say to at least give her a month, maybe even 2, to start looking for a job, and if she doesn’t, then so what, we get more content to watch, even though I truly want to see her succeed and get herself out of this situation.
And yeah she is being a bitch about the donations, she’s looking to place blame everywhere else because that’s what happens when you’re grieving, the responsibility of this crime doesn’t fully fall on tophia either, yes she has a SLITHER of responsibility, but so does Donald jr, Donald sr, and Marie! But more importantly the blame falls 95% on the asshole that killed Donald jr, shot Marie, and stole their car. Like obviously part of the fault of them being in the car lies on tophia, and Donald, they could’ve gotten jobs and not been in that situation, same thing for Marie, applying for benefits should’ve been her full time job, as well as encouraging tophia that this internet shit isn’t sustainable, and isn’t gonna work out. But y’all LOATHE tophia so much that your judgment of the situation is extremely clouded by hate, like believe me I don’t fw tophia either, but like fuck, it’s been 4 DAYS. DAYS. Not WEEKS, or MONTHS, but DAYS. It’s not normal to even begin to start processing what happened in 4 days, but y’all swear to god that this emotionally stunted woman is supposed to automatically “man up” and have all her problems fixed bc she watched her brother get shot, be so honest with yourself rn.

To be real, I think people are having such negative reactions to the the situation right now because they (albeit foolishly) didn’t expect to Tophia to be so…TOPHIA right after such a traumatic event. While there is no correct way to grieve, I didn’t see her ranting online within 48 hours of the shooting and passing blame onto her “fan” account pages. Expecting her to overcome generational poverty and homelessness in just a few days is highly unrealistic. I think the mistake was expecting critical thinking and logic from someone who is both grieving and was already dealing with an elevator car that never hit the top floor anyway.

My mom prepaid for her burial and funeral costs and there is a life insurance policy for me to incinerate and bury. I want no money wasted on a funeral. Most families discuss this.

If with renting you have to make 3 or 4X the rent. What does she think the requirements are for buying a house. She thinks she’s gonna ever be able to afford to buy a house flat out? Idk why they weren’t checking behind Donald Sr to make sure he was paying the rent. They know he’s mentally ill and still just sat there.

They can’t buy anything without the father signing papers since it’s bec of him it’s easier(VA). They have no credit checked type of loans which would be a disaster for this family to qualify but they just might bec of that loan.

I think once Donald Sr was off his meds for good they started stealing money from his account and there was nothing left to pay the rent with. It never really occurred to them they'd be evicted for it and rent probably didn't even cross Tophia or Marie's mind because they've never really had to pay bills like adults- Donald always took care of it.
