Tophia, there is no way that you looked at the photos of the girls who the company are using to promote this dress and thought, “Hmmm they look like they have the same body type as me.” She’s so delusional. I went to go look at the dress she was talking about and none of the promo pictures use plus size models. She’s trying to be like Samyra and she’s just making herself look dumber and dumber.

I don’t understand why can’t she search for clothes that compliment her body type? She’s easily a 2 or 3x. TikTok shop does offer dresses for 2X and 3X sizes and the companies that sell them do utilize plus size models to show them off so why she always wants to navigate to the clothes that clearly do not support her body type is beyond me.

2 or 3 x no. I’m 170 and I’m a 2x in some clothes. She already said she’s a 6x and that’s before she gained even more weight. She wants “tent sized” not plus size. So father than change her habits, she wants them to somehow make 6x clothes for her but not use extra material bec she doesn’t want extra material. She’s nuts.

It really depends on your body type too cause when I was 175 I was in a medium and when I was 160 I could wear a small but at 230 (was my biggest weight cause I gained a lot during pregnancy 😭) I was in L and XL and I would buy 2x when I wanted like baggy fit so I agree she is 4-6x ALSO do you remember when she was buying those XL tshirts and they were like super tight on her

I'm more baffled she could even put it on 😭 but I do gain my weight in my stomach more than anywhere,'sadly so it definitely depends on your body type for sure.

And I don't like to just bag on Tophia's weight in a vacuum; plenty of women are bigger and still beautiful, but you've got to be realistic about what fits you, accept that yes you are bigger (and that's okay!), and work to your strengths, which is the same with any body type really. You don't squeeze your unwashed, unwiped ass into something six sizes too small and let yourself believe you're petite just because you're mentally small.

Tophia suffers from something far more extreme than body dysmorphia. She lives in a permanent state of delusional regarding everything to do with her reality. This is also evident in the way she talks about homeless people as if she hasn’t been one for the past 3 years. Out of all the models promoting that dress, she picked the Kim K lookalike for her green screen bc that is what she thinks she looks like. She has said time and time again that she’s not overweight, fat, or obese. She only brings up fatphobia to play victim. When she sees these clothing items, in her mind it is going to look exactly like the display on her. The only reason she’s even addressing the lack of larger sizes is bc after she bought that cherry dress in a size L and it fit her like a tube top, she couldn’t ignore that the stuff she’s trying to buy from the tik tok shop is not for her.

I'm a big girl (probably smaller than Tophia) and I'm usually XL/2x depending on where i get my clothes. A 1x at Walmart won't fit me the way a 1x on Amazon will. Bras, pants, shirts and dresses. Idk how hard it is to read sizing charts and reviews for her. My size is considered plus size. It's really not hard to find something cute online. It's just in person shopping that sucks.

Someone posted here once about how some clothing (I'm not from the US so I don't know what's the usual norm there) measures just the width as its laid flat, rather than the circumference of it, which they took to mean it's possible Tophia is genuinely not sure what size she's buying because she's too slow to do any of the conversion needed. I don't know how true or likely that is but it's been floated and I could buy her being that bad at sizing.
