Tophia claiming to have MDD makes me feel invalid.

Look, im gonna tell you this with all seriousness. The only reason why she was diagnosed with MDD is because of that series of questions all psychiatrists ask. Knowing tophia, of course, she stated the lowest answer (Nearly everyday) for all questions, leading her to get 27 points, (severe depression) Don’t let her fake answers on a test dictate how you feel. I have MDD too, and I have been on meds for years, and I am still more productive than tophia even during episodes. Your depression is very real and valid. Tophia just farms for sympathy points because she is a narcissist.

Dont give her that power! You and your diagnosis are valid af. Hers likely isn't. She most prob got it from scrolling tiktok. You have found that spirit in you to survive despite your diagnosis and do something about it. All she has is pixels on a screen. The phone is her only real friend.

I understand how you feel because people like her use it to feel like a snowflake rather than actually struggle from it. Like adhd, autism, bipolar, ocd are used in normal talk to describe how you are feeling . Like omg I’m so adhd right now etc. it feels degrading to your actual struggle and diagnosis. Don’t let it because at the end of the day you got your diagnosis and you are working hard for yourself and that’s all that matters

I have MDD and PTSD, both diagnosed professionally, and later today (!) im about to drive from Washington state to Florida. With three cats. Im also moving to a fully renovated (this year) 1955 home, that we (husband and I) bought.

About 8-9 years ago, I was homeless in southern Illinois before I moved to Washington with my~$150 and had to restart from the bottom. Joined the military after a few years and now my life is amazing.

Tophia has ZERO excuse. NONE. The army did help me, but it was NOT what pulled me out of homelessness. I was working a full time construction job and was renting before I enlisted.

She is LAZY. That’s IT. She has NO DRIVE. She depends on HANDOUTS and being a self-proclaimed VICTIM.

Irregardless if her diagnosis is true or not, it changes NOTHING about her ability to change her situation. Both of those diagnosis together do NOT make someone incapable of living. Some things CAN be hard, but your life is not just suspended in the air. You HAVE to move forward.

That’s why I have absolutely zero sympathy for ANYTHING that Tophia has gone through. Or Marie. Or Donald. I do not care. They are all the same breed of lazy, entitled, selfish, and fucked up.

There’s no reason that her diagnosis should make you feel invalid.

I doubt she went to a psychiatrist like you did.

If anything, you can rightly assume that she took a quiz online or something and that’s where she got her “diagnosis. “

It’s got nothing to do with you, how can it hurt you?

She probably went for an unrelated medical issue and they did a routine depression screening. If shes actually seen a psychiatrist she'd be told she has alot more issues than MDD. 

Tophia wasn’t diagnosed by ANYONE. That girl has been claiming to be depressed for years when it’s convenient to her. As someone who also has MDD, don’t let her lies invalidate you.
