There’s no reason she can’t get herself a primary care doctor wherever allows Medicaid and actually go to annual visits like a normal person. She literally has free insurance idk why she would ever not use it. I’d take full advantage of any dental work it covered and everything.

I will admit that dental sucks with Medicaid. You get the shittiest dentists and they don’t gaf about you and barely do the job right. Once I was off Medicaid and went to a better dentist, they asked me where I got work done previously 😭 made me so embarrassed but I couldn’t help it at the time I had to go where Medicaid allowed me .

Wow that’s awful! I think where I am, Medicaid patients seem to have good coverage and a ton of options for dental offices of their choice. I have private dental and it’s ehh coverage wise but I’m thankful to have any coverage. I hear people talk highly of the dental coverage here though
