This is such a non-issue but I genuinely get SO upset when I own something remotely similar or an exact item as Tophia. I own a Beatles shirt exactly like Tophias but now I’m embarrassed to put it on in public, especially since my peers also know about her. This also kinda goes for music as well, I like older music and she does too. And I’m not even a gatekeeper I just REFUSE to match with her… does anyone else feel like this or is it just me? 🫩

I can relate. Had another lolcow (an artist who was racist, a creepy stalker, and overall weird as hell) ruin Metalocalypse for me. Not that I was a huge fan but for a long while, I was stressed out when I saw anything pertaining to it. She was also a fan of evil dead and reanimater, basically horror and I freaking love horror. I fixed it though because lately I’ve been practicing exposure therapy. It works wonders. Don’t let lolcows ruin stuff for you. They’re awful human beings that don’t deserve that kind of control over you. No one does. Wear the shirt, listen to the music. It’s yours.

I hate certain music because of an ex lol. But no, toph copies her taste from other people. She's bound to leech onto something we all like
