The first shelter provided her meals. If she didn’t like what they were serving she would eat fast food.

I also want to know this… I think maybe a long term motel again… but where would they get the money for it? People have said a shelter, but I don’t think she would be playing loud music while doing lives if she was. Maybe they got a voucher from a shelter for a motel? Or maybe they are just going to play dine and dash like the last motel?

It’s possible Mamachu is getting some sort of disability check now. She’d likely qualify for it or some kind of assistance. I think wherever they are, it’s because of Mamachu. If Tophia were getting money or help from some organization or something, she’d be on her own. She rarely if ever said word about living with Mamachu again. I think she was glad to be rid of her. She seems annoyed by her already.

Yes, mamachu definitely qualifies for assistance including temporary emergency housing. However, others have said she hasn’t been housed yet, however I guess they may not know, though.

I don’t like Marie, but this really does feel uncomfortably close to elder abuse. Unfortunately, since Marie is arguably competent, there really isn’t much that can be done. But the aid she’s getting, whatever it is, is probably barely enough for one person living frugally. Please it seems likely there are going to be more cuts in the future. It absolutely isn’t sustainable for Tophia to live off Marie.

Someone on her last few lives have mentioned the name of a shelter they believe she’s staying in, I looked it up and it seems to have an enclosed outdoor area, I’m guessing like a courtyard with a few benches where she could steam and it seems to be right along the street so that would explain the car notices we hear on her lives

My wife let me in on the fact that are some shelters that are decent enough that if there are clients that are on EBT. They are encouraged to contribute to a communal kitchen, IE why I'm assuming the land walrus got all those chubs of ground beef. If that help with a location....

She’s living in another shelter RN that’s has people live there for up to 6 months, and I bet she won’t do a job application too. I’m not leaking the shelter’s name but it’s close to the Walmart Tophia shopped at.

The problem with Tophia in a nutshell is that she’s almost certainly thinking, “I don’t have to worry about a place to live for six months and then something else will work out,” rather than, “Oh, no, I only have six months to get my life together and get a steady income and a home, so what can I do to find a job that will let me make enough to get someone to rent to me.” Of course, Marie is thinking the same thing, when she should also be trying to figure something out. Assuming she doesn’t get kicked out, she’ll be smug for the next few months and start panicking in March.
