Why does Tophia barely acknowledge her Hispanic side?
She grew up with her mother's side of the family and lives in a city where the majority of the population is Hispanic. What Black American experiences did she have growing up? I know papachu was not braiding her hair growing up, taking her to cook outs, and he was not cooking any soul food in that house. she didn't even see his side of the family at all growing up. The most it gets is a mention in her bio.

she's a sedentary creature. she never left apartmenchu, and from the sound of it none of the family did ever. so while she can claim both aspects of her heritage, she has never been apart of those communities.

Because in her twisted mind it's all about what will make her the better victim. Plus she's racist af both openly and low-key.

Literally this

Exactly!!! If there ever came a point where racism against Hispanics became more prevalent than racism against black people, she would definitely be leaning into that identity more 🤣

She got no actual culture or identity. She can call herself whatever she wants but still doesnt change that she has no culture or identity. She cant claim either experience related to her heritage.

I don’t think she really even knows about her culture, which is embarrassing. She doesn’t even know about black culture either, she just repeats whatever she sees on the internet. She probably doesn’t bother researching either. She keeps trying to be the spokesperson for the black community despite not knowing anything about us. And then she just refuses to try and connect with her Hispanic community so lol

Bc then she’d have to acknowledge that her Hispanic side, the Spaniard white European side, would make her actually (at least) half white.

She used to identify solely as Hispanic and never black and even denied being black. However it seems like she can identify as more of a victim and call people racists for criticizing her if she identifies as black.

She said she can’t confirm if her family is from Spain. And she doesn’t know if she’s Hispanic. She’s also not sure where people got that idea. lol

Her mother, Marie, seems to struggle a lot with her heavily accented English but
doesn’t speak Spanish either. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all so mentally stunted that they cannot even properly explain their descendency.

She will acknowledge it, when it benefits her
